Some great things to look out for this year are the great performances from local artists. There will be live music as well as entertaining dance numbers from the city’s most talented performers. There will even be a number of ‘Do It Yourself’ workshops for people of all ages! If you are a parent, feel free to bring your kids along, as 50% of attendees are families with children. There will be fun festival activities for kids of all ages. If you don’t have kids, don’t worry. The other 50% of attendees are under the age 35, so this is also a great event for you to enjoy with friends.
Walk around the marketplace grounds as you look at goods from a number of local shops and different vendors selling various things, such as arts and crafts. Many of the artists are local and others are from all over the country! As you walk around, don’t forget to stop and get great tasting foods from food trucks and carts that will be located at the festival. If you really love food, then stop by the culinary stage, as local chefs present food and cooking demonstrations. It will be a great way to learn some cooking tips and tricks! At the festival, there will even be an activity stage where you can join free workout classes and demos! Finally, there will be an Eco Zone where earth-friendly organizations and businesses will be present and offer advice and information on how to become more sustainable. This is a fun event you won’t want to miss!
