The holidays are a great time to get into the spirit of giving. If you’re staying in Santa Monica this December, there’s a great opportunity to enjoy local bars and donate food to the Westside Food Bank. Come out to the 3rd Annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl on December 17 with some cash and get ready for a great time!
All pub crawl attendees are asked to dress in Santa or holiday attire individually or in teams so that they can fill the streets in Santa Monica with holiday cheer. Costume ideas include Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, reindeer, carolers and Santa’s Helpers. You can choose from a variety of Pub Crawl routes that feature bars on Wilshire, The Pier, 4th St, 3rd St. Promenade and Main St. There will also be an Official After Party at the end of the night.
The Big Blue Bus is offering crawlers unlimited bus rides all night for only $4. The Day Pass, good for $24 is available here. A second Big Blue Bus will serve all locations from Wilshire to 4th to Colorado to Main Street at Ocean Park and run every 15 minutes. A map is available here.
Last year, over 3000 people attended the Pub Crawl in pouring rain and raised over 4000 pounds of food for the Westside Food Back. That’s enough for 21,000 meals for the needy! This year, the Food Bank staff has asked crawlers to donate cash instead this year.
To sign up, choose a route and buy a ticket here. You can also buy tickets at your starting location on the day of. Be sure to pick up your official Pub Crawl wristband in order to get exclusive food and drink specials at all bars, as well as entrance to the After Party and a raffle for great prizes!
