Have a laugh at the Festival Supreme

This October 19th, a unique comedy event is coming to Santa Monica Pier: the Festival Supreme. With doors opening at 2pm for the shows to start at 3pm, an enormous selection of some of the most well known names in comedy are brought together for one night of raucous laughter to suit everyone.

When names include such celebrities as The Mighty Boosh, Sarah Silverman and Adam Sandler, it’s bound to be a good night! However, it is a seemingly endless list of comedy greats who are populating the acts at the Festival Supreme. Tim and Eric, most recently known for ‘Tim and Eric’s Million Dollar Movie’ featuring Will Ferrell will be bringing their unique comedy show to the stage; the award winning Mr. Show Experience featuring David Cross and Bob Odenkirk (from Breaking Bad) and Zach Galifianakis with his unique humor are all in attendance too. Other acts include The Gregory Brothers who bring their comedy songs to the audience, Tig Notaro who is taking a break from her immensely successful podcast and TV work to perform live stand up at the Festival, and the writer and performer Hannibal Buress will be showcasing some of the work which landed him the 2012 prize for Best Club Comic as awarded by Comedy Central. Living legend Eric Idle can be seen at the Festival Supreme and is known for his TV appearances, songs, books, comedy work and everything in between; Fred Armisen’s amazing impressions are not to be missed; whilst the renowned Reggie Watts and his improvised unique shows blending vocals, beat boxing, musicianship and comedy will amaze audiences with the various directions they take.

Others staying in hotels close to Santa Monica Pier might like the outlandish Dynasty Handbag, the beautiful combination of old jazz and contemporary music provided by the duo Princess, the vocal talents of Beardyman, or the comedic stylings of Craig Robinson and the Nasty Delicious. Other acts include Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Garfunkel & Oates, the Neil Hamburger Band, The Abe Lincoln Story, Nancy and Beth, Patton Oswalt, Sasquatch, Tim Minchin and none other than Tenacious D.
