When you found out you’d be in Los Angeles this December, you were probably thinking that the weather would be nice. If you’ll be in Beverly Hills on December 9, however, the forecast is 100 percent chance of snow all along Rodeo Drive! It’s called Sparkle 90210; a night like no other in Los Angeles.
More than 40 stores and boutiques along the legendary Rodeo Drive will be open during the blizzard until 9pm offering wine, champagne, and shopping incentives. It’s a great chance to get some holiday shopping done amidst the magical white flakes that Los Angeles never sees. Numerous food trucks will also be stationed on Rodeo Drive including Border Grill Truck, Cart for a Cause, Coolhaus, Frysmith, Sprinkles cupcakes, The GastroBus and the Grilled Cheese Truck. Bouchon, the French Bistro, will also be offering drinks to warm the night up!
Three blocks of Rodeo Drive and Brighton Way will be covered to snow on December 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16.A highlight on the rode is the Swarovski crystal helix sculpture in the center of Rodeo Drive. This year, if you tweet your holiday message on Twitter with the hashtag #letitsparkle, your message will be displayed on the sparkling ticker. You can also text 877877 with the word "Sparkle" followed by your holiday greeting.
The fun doesn’t end there! With a qualifying purchase on Rodeo Drive, guests can also enjoy a horse and carriage ride along Rodeo. Rides will continue Saturdays and Sundays before Christmas. There are rumors that Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be making appearances at Rodeo Drive in December, along with carolers, holiday jazz and more music. Stay tuned to the Rodeo Drive website for more details!
