The first ever William S. Paley Festival was held in 1984 and has been a huge hit ever since. It was named after the founder of The Paley Center who was also the founder of the CBS television network and provides an opportunity for fans of TV shows and media to get up close and personal with the cast and creators of their favorite shows. The PaleyFest festival runs for two weeks, from March 13 to March 28, and each day will be dedicated to a different show, some of which are currently being aired and others which have ended.
The last day of this fantastic festival is dedicated to the hit supernatural TV show American Horror Story: Coven which has captivated millions of people throughout the country as well as internationally. The day will offer guests a chance to get up close and personal with stars such as Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts and Lily Rabe as well as the creators Brad Falchuck and Ryan Murphy, and executive producers Dante Di Loreto and Tim Minear.
Many fans who have been to this event choose to come back year after year to engage in this fantastic experience which is offered by The Paley Center for Media. In addition to meeting the cast and crew, ticket holders are allowed to participate in question and answer sessions and watch exclusive episodes and highlights of the featured show.
Tickets for these events will range from around $25 to $75 for the general public, while members of the center will be treated to a discount of around $10 on their ticket price. This year, the center is proud to announce a couple of new features: firstly, all ticket holders will have the option to choose where they will be seated when they purchase their tickets, and secondly, all patrons and members or the Paley Center will have access to their choice of tickets 24 hours before they go on sale to the general public. If you are a visitor who is staying in Santa Monica, this is an event that you would not want to miss!
