Adamm's Gallery in Santa Monica, CA is a haven for all things artistic. It was opened in 1976 by Adamm Gritlefield as an extension to his already popular and reputable stained glass studio. The studio was opened in 1972 and has since created many pieces of the finest quality stained glass which can be seen in churches, hotels, and restaurants all over the world —some pieces are even on display in the White House.
The studio didn't become a gallery until 1976 when Adamm opened it up as a platform that other artists could use to showcase their works, and as of today, it holds works from over 175 artists, many of which have pieces exhibited in galleries worldwide. Adamm travels the world personally, searching for pieces from both established and emerging artists to add to his gallery. Many of the works are shown on the gallery website and it is always being updated with new items, however, pictures cannot do justice to just how beautiful these items are, so we would always recommend visiting in person while you are staying in Santa Monica CA. Many of the pieces are not listed on the website, so choosing not to visit could mean missing out on some very special works of art.
The gallery has also taken part in several restoration projects, including historic landmarks and buildings in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. These projects have included the Hollyhock House and the Oviatt Building, as well as regular repairs on the stained glass works at UCLA.
Whether you are a visitor to the area or a resident of LA, you will not be able to deny the beauty of the works in Adamm's Stained Glass Studio and Gallery, and as many of the pieces are available for purchase, you will have no trouble finding the perfect gift for that special someone.
